I had the entertaining or dubious (take your pick) distinction of watching the new Friday the 13th remake last Saturday. As far as Friday movies go, this one was one of the best, but if you're going to be wowed by some cinematic masterpiece, don't choose this movie. If, however, you're looking to be entertained for an hour or two, this movie provides some genuinely spooky moments and some cheesy scares. The gore isn't over the top, and as bad as this may sound, there were some pretty unique kill scenes. Jason is back, folks, love him or hate him.
I read in the news today about a 13 year old boy who became a father. What is this world coming to? There is no way a 13 year old should be a dad. Just because the piping and plumbing are installed in the building, doesn't make it ready to occupy! If people would just follow God's Laws for sexuality, abortions, STIs, HIV, and unwanted children would be eliminated. This is a prime example of what disregarding God's laws for purity has brought upon us.
